Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!

I’m not sure how I forgot to post these but here goes!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday,

Neil, Collin and I took the trip up to LA Live in downtown Los Angeles for the Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! show. After going last year, we figured we’d go again since this is one of his favorite shows… it doesn’t hurt that they actually have good musical guests on the show too. Anyways, this year we got the “meet and greet” passes so after the event we were able to take pictures with all of the characters and run around. Collin had a blast and I’m not going to lie, Neil and I did too. ‘Til next year!

AutoCon 2011!

Just got home a little while ago from this years’ AutoCon event and figured I’d get a jump on uploading some pics. Overall the event was even bigger and better than last year with tons of new cars as well as a great new venue.

Tjin Edition once again partnered up with the fine folks at UTI (Universal Technical Institute) as well as the ladies at DaYUUM to showcase our cars as well as hand out goodies to those in attendance. I supposed that’s enough rambling for now, be sure to click the images below for larger versions… enjoy!

Kim and I just got back in from watching the eclipse so I figured I’d put up some pictures. This also might be the quickest I’ve ever updated the blog from something I photographed, high five!

Scion FR-S Reveal – AutoGuide.com!

Wednesday night, Denny Huang and a couple others, as well as myself were out in downtown Los Angeles, CA for the highly anticipated reveal of the Scion FR-S, the US version of the Toyota GT 86. I was asked earlier in the week by Jason Siu, of Tunerzine.com fame if I wanted to head up there to cover the event for AutoGuide.com and being the wonderful gentleman that I am, I obliged.

Having seen pictures online of what the GT 86 and Subaru BRZ had to offer, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect when I got there but to be honest, the car was actually pretty rad in person. Styling wise, the car is a little aggressive for my liking but if the price point is right, Scion definitely has a hit on their hands… I guess time will tell.

Usually passing on a lot of these events, it was nice to see a lot of familiar faces in attendance including Jarod DeAnda, who was emceeing the event, as well Jon Sibal, RJ, Ken Miyoshi and a lot of others that I won’t bother rambling off since you most likely don’t care anyways.

Los Angeles Auto Show Randomness

As usual, the Los Angeles Auto Show falls right after SEMA and as usual we made the drive up to Los Angeles to check it out. With a lot couple of the manufacturers that we work with releasing new models at the event, the real purpose was to check some of the cars out in person and see what platforms we might want to try and work on for next year.

Overall, the show had a lot of great new cars including the Ford Flex and of course the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series but my favorite car there was probably the Chevrolet Cruze WTCC car. Enough talking, enjoy the pictures and remember you can click on them for larger versions.

LNYSA Mini Kickers!

For the last few months Neil and I have been coaching Collin and other kids in a local soccer league and this past Saturday was the last practice of the season. After the session all of the kids received their final patches and trophies and were treated to a little carnival action. Forgive me for not getting any pictures of said patches or trophy but here are the rest of the pictures of the other activities, enjoy!
