This past weekend Kim and I took the short drive out to Indio for this years Coachella festival. With so many good acts this year, there was no chance that either of us was going to miss it.
Jay-Z, Gorillaz, Phoenix, The xx, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, King Khan, Passion Pit, Thom Yorke, The Soft Pack, and a ton of other great acts.
Friday we caught Echo and the Bunnymen, La Roux, The Specials, LCD Soundsystem, Yeasayer, Passion Pit and of course, Jay-Z!

Saturday we skipped the morning/early afternoon sessions to head out the Anthem Magazine Lagoon. We spent most of the day there and then headed to the show around six in the afternoon. We ended up seeing a few acts including Hot Chip, Faith No More, MGMT and The XX. We wanted to stay and catch a few others but apparently laying out by a pool all day wears you down haha.

Sunday, the last day of the festival was amazing. We opened up seeing The Soft Pack, King Khan and the Shrings (with the Yo Gabba Gabba! cast,) Jonsi, Mayer Hawthorne, Mute Math, Pavement, Phoenix, Rusko, Thom Yorke, and finally Gorillaz. Holy wow, what a great day filled with some amazing acts.

Overall, this past weekend was a blast. Great music, great company, and an altogether drama free weekend. Until next year!
