As mentioned here, a little while back Jason Siu asked me if I wanted to help him with a shoot that he was doing for a new magazine that he was working for. Being my kind self, I obliged and met him down at the studio to contribute.
A few days later when all of the pictures had been sorted through, Jason asked if I’d be interested in helping do some of the design work for the magazine since the other person working on the magazine was backed up with the other magazine that the publisher’s have. Being my kind self once again, I obliged and got to work on the cover and several features. Being someone that’s always flipping through random “artsy” magazines and websites, I have an idea of what I’d like magazines to look like and thankfully Jason and the editor had the same vision.
Fast forward to yesterday and I finally got my hands on an issue. Overall I’m pretty happy with my contribution and the direction that it’s headed and can’t wait to get started on issue number two.
